Lamar Allen
Lamar Allen has taught grades 2 through 4 and served in leadership capacities that impact kindergarten through fifth grade. He has also served as School-Based Decision Making chair, grade-level lead, resource teacher, STEM teacher, STEAM teacher, multi-classroom leader, judgment board chair, academic dean, culturally responsive teaching trainer, and PGES coach. Allen has worked within several teaching frameworks, ranging from Paideia to Museum Schools. He has a deep belief that all students should receive a rigorous and student-focused education that changes their communities for the better.
Allen earned his Bachelor of Science in Community Communications and Leadership Development from the University of Kentucky. He received a Master of Education in Teaching: Learning & Leading at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee; and he completed his Educational Specialist Degree at the University of the Cumberlands.
